THE extreme weather has forced the ELO Experience to postpone tonight’s gig at the Ipswich Corn Exchange.
Despite efforts to move vehicles and make the show happen, the band - who live in Hull, Goole and the outlying villages - say they can’t physically get to the venue safely.
A spokesman for the group apologised for the decision, adding: “We have hoped for a let up in the weather which has been the worst I have ever known in my lifetime in this area. I see the Ipswich area is scheduled to have some of the poor weather we have had. I do hope it is not as ferocious as we have witnessed.”
They hope to re-schedule the gig for early next year.
