FRIENDS of Broomhill Pool are hosting a Sunday Lunch to celebrate the launch of their website.

The open-air Ipswich pool that was closed by Ipswich Borough Council have launched the website to highlight up-to-date events of the council's progress about a decision regarding its future and to provide a platform for the public to air it's views.

The website has a history of the pool and on online petition for people to register their support.

The official launch of the website is at Mortimer's Seafood Restaurant, Ipswich on Sunday 18th may at 1.00pm

Drinks will be available from 12.30 and there will also be live music from the Buckshees.

The ticket price is £30 and includes half a bottle of wine.

For children under 16, price will be £5 per ticket.

Tickets for the dinner are available from the restaurant directly on 01473 230225, or diners can turn up on the day and pay but are urged to phone in advance of arrival to help give Mortimer's an idea of how many numbers there will be.

Every ticket sold will help the 'Friends' in their campaign to save the pool, and donations can also be made via the brand new website: www.savebroomhillpool.org.
