PRETTY five-year-old Bethany Button's plight hit a note with well-wishers who rallied to her cause.
Bethany, of Renfrew Road, Ipswich, has cerebral palsy, microcephaly and severe learning delay.
A karaoke night was organised on her behalf and raised £150 to go towards soft toys and a hammock.
Bethany was guest of honour at the occasion at the California Club on Foxhall Road, along with her mum Lisa Catchpole, – who sang Madonna's Crazy for You – dad Aaron, also 23, and brother Corey, aged three.
Family and friends were among the 50 people who turned up to the three-hour event, hosted by Wings Karaoke.
Lisa said: "We are just pleased with the amount of support we have had. We didn't think we would ever get this much support. Bethany really enjoyed the singing on the night."
The family hope to raise £1,000 for Bethany. They have reached the half-way mark, but still have a long way to go yet.
nIf you can help them, please contact them at 139 Renfrew Road, Ipswich, IP4 3HS.
