It is always a struggle to entertain the whole family during the half term break, so here we have some ideas to help you tomorrow.

Outdoor Multi Sports

Suitable for children aged five to 14, there is a multi-sport activity session at Gainsborough sports centre from 9.30am to 11am.

The cost is £2.70 and it will take place outside so ensure children are dresses apporpriately.

Sing and Splash

There is a fun session for pre-schoolers at Crown Pools tomorrow morning, running from 10am to 11am.

It costs £5 and no booking is required.

During the fun-filled hour little ones will gain confidence through fun and songs with Marion. An adult must accompany the child in the water.

Racquet Sports

Badminton, short tennis and squash are on offer at Northgate sports centre from 10am to11.30am/

A coach will help children brush up their racquet skills.

Suitable for those aged five to 14, sessions cost £2.70 per child.

Family Fun Session

Grab your swimming costumes and head down to Crown Pools for a family fun session with waves, floats and rafts from 10am to midday.

Entry costs £4.10 per adult and £2.90 per child.

Bird Box Building

Join Suffolk Wildlife Trust at Chantry Park and make a nest box and bird feeder that you can take home and use in your garden.

Suitable for families, the cost is £5 per box.

The event runs from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Design-a-China

A creative workshop which encourages you to take a closer look at silhouette paintings in Christchurch Mansion’s Victorian wing as inspiration to create your own china pattern.

The arty fun starts at 10.30am and runs for two hours, and there is a second session from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. It is open to five to 16 year olds and costs £3 per child.

Animal Invasion Mini-Beasts

Animals will be taking over the museum tomorrow - hour-long sessions will run throughout the day and places can be booked by calling 01473 433691.

Meet extraordinary animals and discover more about scaly reptiles.

Cost is £3 per person and it is suitable for children aged three and over.

Bounce and Play

Become a superhero on the Superman castle or go wild in the ball pit at Ipswich Town Hall tomorrow.

Bounce and play will be set up in the grand hall and is suitabkle for children under eight.

Entry is £3.50 per child and free for adults, and you can pop along between 11am and 3pm.

Soft Play

Pre-schoolers can take part in a soft play session at Whitton sports centre between 12.30pm and 3.30pm.

Entry is £2.10 and children aged up to four can play in the ball pit, slip down the slides, play with the soft toys and ride the trikes.

Inflatable Slide

The inflatable slide will be out from 2pm to 3pm at Crown Pools.

Children aged eight and over can use it, and entry is £2.90.

Trampolining

Fancy a bounce? Children aged three to seven can try trampolining at Whitton from 2.45pm to 3.45pm.

The cost is £4.40 and adults can also have a bounce.

Family Rollerskating

The whole family can join in with the roller disco at Whitton from 1pm to 2.30pm.

There is also a session at Maidenhall from 3.30pm to 5pm and one at Northgate from 2.30pm to 4pm.

Entry is £2.70 per person and there is no booking required. If you have skates, please take them along as there are only a limited number to borrow.

Alternatively, little ones skating is available at Northgate from 1pm to 2pm, for three to seven year olds, costing £2.40.

The Lego exhibition is still running at Moyse’s Hall, Bury St Edmunds. See some of our great buildings re-created in those iconic bricks, and discover more about some of the world’s greatest cities. Whilst there, you can also learn more about our rich heritage.

RingQuest

Help save middle Earth at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village and Country Park .

This event runs through to Saturday, there will be indoor and outdoor activities on offer themed around the Lord of the Rings saga.

Heroes and Villains: Magna Carter
