Grove Hill in Belstead has been closed for two weeks due to work being carried out for new homes in the area.
The key Belstead route has been closed since June 18 so Anglian Water and UK Power Networks can work on water connections and installing underground electricity cable.
Grove Hill is set to reopen on July 13 when Anglian Water and UK Power Networks have completed their work.
A spokesperson from UK Power Networks said: “We are installing underground electricity cabling on Grove Hill until July 12, so that overhead power lines can be cleared from a future development site. To minimise inconvenience we are collaborating with Anglian Water to use the same trench and avoid repeat digging. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
