A 68-year-old former Ipswich man accused of sexually assaulting a schoolboy in his mobile home more than a decade ago has denied the allegations.
Giving evidence during his trial at Ipswich Crown Court Stanley Blatchford denied showing the boy pornographic magazines and sexually assaulting him.
“It never happened,” said Blatchford, of Bildeston Road, Combs.
He has denied five offences of indecent assault on a male between 2001 and 2004.
Katherine Davey, prosecuting, said that at the time of the alleged offences the boy was aged between 13-15 and Blatchford was in his early 50s.
She alleged that Blatchford allowed the boy to look at pornographic magazines during visits to his mobile home in Bourne Park, Wherstead Road, Ipswich, and had touched him sexually and had got the boy to touch him.
She alleged that Blatchford told the boy that if he said “no” three times he would stop touching him but when the boy did that Blatchford had carried on.
Blatchford had also allegedly told the boy that what happened between them was a secret.
The trial continues.
