A TEENAGE girl was hit over the head with a glass bottle in Chelmsford.
The 15-year-old was in the High Street near McDonalds when she was allegedly attacked and suffered a cut head and bruising.
She was treated at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford following the alleged assault on December 18 between 9pm and 9.15pm.
Police have arrested another 15-yar-old girl on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and she was released on bail without charge pending further enquiries until February 1.
Officers have appealed for any witnessed to the incident to contact Pc Maxwell Ansell at Chelmsford police station on 0300 333 4444.
