Witnesses sought after A1066 death

A 29-year-old man was killed in an accident when his car left the road and collided with a tree on the A1066 near the junction of Brettenham, Diss.

The front seat passenger was taken to West Suffolk General Hospital with serious internal injuries and a fractured wrist after the crash at 2.

The front seat passenger was taken to West Suffolk General Hospital with serious internal injuries and a fractured wrist after the crash at 2.20am yesterday .

A blue Ford Escort was being driven towards Diss when it left the carriageway on a bend and hit the tree. The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
