POLICE investigating an armed robbery at a Woolworths branch in Felixstowe want to speak to anyone who saw a white estate car parked in the Hamilton Road or Highfield Road part of town.
POLICE investigating an armed robbery at a Woolworths branch in Felixstowe want to speak to anyone who saw a white estate car parked in the Hamilton Road or Highfield Road part of town.
Two men armed with a bat and a knife entered the store through a back door around 6am on Monday and threatened two members of staff, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 50s.
They escaped with cash and left the staff members tied up after forcing the man to open a safe.
Both men were wearing balaclavas and are described as white, in their 30s and of medium build.
Detectives investigating the case are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the car parked in the area at around the time of the raid, or who may have seen a similar vehicle in the days before.
