A PREGNANT woman had to be airlifted from a ferry and was taken to hospital after she is believed to have suffered a miscarriage.The 38-year-old woman, who was 13 weeks pregnant, was a passenger onboard Ocean Majesty when she was taken ill.

The 38-year-old woman, who was 13 weeks pregnant, was a passenger onboard Ocean Majesty when she was taken ill.

The ferry was on passage from Zeebrugge to Harwich and was approximately 60 miles off the coast of Great Yarmouth when the incident happened at 8.30pm yesterday.

A RAF Sea King from Wattisham rescued the woman and took her to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston.
