FIREFIGHTERS were called out to help free a woman and a child who were stuck in a lift in an Ipswich shop.
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to help free a woman and a child who were stuck in a lift in an Ipswich shop.
Crews went to Boots, in Tavern Street, Ipswich, around 2.30pm today.
The lift had broken down and firefighters were able to get to its mechanics and open its doors.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire Service said a female and a child, believed to be her daughter, were released by 2.36pm.
