Woman arrested after serious accident

A 44-YEAR-OLD woman was today arrested after a serious road accident in Earl Soham.The accident, which took place on the A1120 around 9.50pm yesterday, left a man from Debenham in a critical condition.

The accident, which took place on the A1120 around 9.50pm yesterday, left a man from Debenham in a critical condition.

The accident involved a silver Porsche Cayenne and a red Volkswagen Passat.

The woman was arrested in Ipswich just after 3pm on suspicion of failing to stop after an injury accident.

She was taken to Woodbridge police station for interview.

Several witnesses, including the occupants of a Volvo 440, have already been traced but police are still keen from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles involved.
