POLICE have arrested a woman following a stabbing in Suffolk today. A 29-year-old has been arrested after a 55-year-old man was stabbed in the back at an address on Westgate Street, Bury St Edmunds.
POLICE have arrested a woman following a stabbing in Bury St Edmunds which has left a man fighting for his life.
A 29-year-old has been arrested after a 55-year-old man was stabbed in the back at an address on Westgate Street.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at 2.10am yesterday. The man, from Bury St Edmunds, was originally taken to West Suffolk Hospital in the town but has since been transferred to Papworth Hospital in Cambridge where he is in a critical condition.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
