A 53-year-old woman has been left with a broken leg after being knocked down in a crash with a mobility scooter.
The victim was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds after the incident in Newmarket High Street shortly before 4pm yesterday .
A police spokeswoman said they were investigating.
It is the second serious mobility scooter accident in west Suffolk this month. Ten days ago, a 94- year-old woman was hospitalised after being hit by a mobility scooter in Sudbury.
