A woman is in a “critical” condition in hospital after falling from a car park in Ipswich on Christmas Day.

The lady fell from the car park near the My Local supermarket on St Matthew’s Street, in Ipswich.

The police were called at 1.47pm today (December 25) after reports someone had “jumped or fallen” from the car park.

The ambulance service and police arrived at the scene, with an air ambulance unable to attend due to the weather.

The woman was rushed to Ipswich Hospital in a serious condition by land ambulance. Her condition was described this evening as “critical”.
