HEALTH and Safety executives have been called to the British Sugar plant near Bury St Edmunds after a 40-year-old woman was crushed to death.The woman, who police have not named but comes from the Stowmarket area, was on foot when she collided with a mechanical loading shovel earlier today.
HEALTH and Safety executives have been called to the British Sugar plant near Bury St Edmunds after a 40-year-old woman was crushed to death.
The woman, who police have not named but comes from the Stowmarket area, was on foot when she collided with a mechanical loading shovel earlier today.
Ambulance police and paramedics were called to the factory on Hollow Row at 1.45pm.
An inquest into the woman's death is expected to open in the next few days.
