Woman dies in road accident
A WOMAN has died following a road accident on a busy Fenland road in Cambridgeshire today. The accident happened on the A141 near Tick Fen between Chatteris and Warboys and involved a lorry and two cars.

The accident happened on the A141 near Tick Fen between Chatteris and Warboys and involved a lorry and two cars.
Police confirmed the road has been closed at both ends and diversions put in place.
Fire, police, paramedics and the air ambulance are at the scene but it is not known at this stage how many people have been injured in the incident.
Fourteen fire-fighters were from March, Chatteris and Huntingdon were called to the scene.
Ronnie Booth, station manager at Huntingdon Fire Station, said: “I can confirm there is a female fatality.

“It has been a difficult rescue because of the damage to the vehicles.
Mr Booth added: "We have been using hydraulic equipment to make the release, at this stage we are waiting for the police to do their inquiries before we continue with the extrication of one of the cars."
