A WOMAN died after she was in a car accident attempting to cross the A140 at the Mickfield cross roads.The woman, who has not yet been identified, was attempting to cross the road north of Little Stonham on Sunday night.
A WOMAN died after she was in a car accident attempting to cross the A140 at the Mickfield cross roads.
The 79-year-old, who has not yet been identified, was attempting to cross the road north of Little Stonham on Sunday at around 9.43pm when she was in collision with a Mercedes ML430 4x4 car.
She was taken to Ipswich Hospital but later died from her injuries.
Anyone who saw the accident is asked to contact Pc Stephen Criggs, of the Suffolk Constabulary roads policing unit on 01473 613500.
