Woman flown to hospital after car flips

A WOMAN was flown to hospital by helicopter today after an accident on a Suffolk road during which a car overturned.

The crash victim was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge after the accident at Walsham Road, Badwell Ash, near Ixworth, shortly before 9am.

The woman was believed to be suffering from abdominal and spinal injuries, the severity of which was not known.
