A MAJOR investigation has been launched after a woman was found with “serious head injuries and wounds” at an address near Ipswich waterfront.
A MAJOR investigation has been launched after a woman was found with “serious head injuries and wounds” at an address near Ipswich waterfront.
Police were called at 12.40pm today to reports that a female had been found, and the property has been cordoned off.
Five police cars and a number of ambulances were called to the scene.
A Suffolk police spokeswoman said: “The ambulance service and police officers attended the address where the female was found with head injuries and wounds to her body.
“The property has been cordoned off while an investigation gets underway to establish what has happened.”
