A WOMAN has been freed from a car by emergency services following a collision with two lorries in Felixstowe.The accident happened on Walton Avenue at around 8.43am today when a Vauxhall Astra collided with a Volvo lorry and a DAF truck.
A WOMAN has been freed from a car by emergency services following a collision with two lorries in Felixstowe.
The accident happened on Walton Avenue at around 8.43am today when a Vauxhall Astra collided with a Volvo lorry and a DAF truck.
It is understood the Astra was “sandwiched” between the two larger vehicles.
A police spokeswoman said the woman was trapped for a short time before being freed by emergency services.
She was taken away from the scene of the accident on a spinal board.
The police spokeswoman said: “The road has been closed and diversions have been put in place.”
