A WOMAN was taken to hospital after her car was involved in a smash with a lorry.
Emergency services were called to the A134 at Newton Green, near Sudbury, at about 1.40pm with initial reports that the woman had been seriously injured.
Fire crews cut the woman free from her Volvo car and she was taken by ambulance to Ipswich Hospital.
A police spokesman said her injuries were not as serious as first feared.
