A 44-year-old woman was taken to hospital today after her car ended up on the central reservation of the A12 at Copdock.The woman, who has not been named, was given emergency treatment at the scene by a nurse who was passing by and paramedics from Suffolk ambulance service.

A 44-year-old woman was taken to hospital today after her car ended up on the central reservation of the A12 at Copdock.
The woman, who has not been named, was given emergency treatment at the scene by a nurse who was passing by and paramedics from Suffolk ambulance service.
An ambulance spokesman said that there was no other vehicle involved in the accident which happened at about 7am. It was unclear as to why her vehicle had left the road.
The spokesman said that the woman had been taken to hospital with shoulder and leg injuries.
