A WOMAN believed to be in her early to mid-30s died last night after plunging from the Orwell Bridge near Ipswich.Police were contacted at 7.45pm by members of the public who reported seeing a woman on the bridge looking like she was about to jump.
A WOMAN believed to be in her early to mid-30s died last night after plunging from the Orwell Bridge near Ipswich.
Police were contacted at 7.45pm by members of the public who reported seeing a woman on the bridge looking like she was about to jump.
Thames Coastguard launched the Harwich lifeboat and a female body was recovered at foot of the concrete supports of the bridge.
Suffolk police said the woman had not been identified last night and enquiries were continuing.
