Woman in hospital after horse fall

A WOMAN is today in hospital with serious injuries after falling from a horse on a Suffolk road.

A WOMAN is today in hospital with serious injuries after falling from a horse on a Suffolk road.

Paramedics were called at 8.10am this morning to Ferry Lane, Sudbourne, where the rider had fallen from her horse.

The air ambulance was called and lifted the woman, thought to be in her mid-twenties, to Ipswich Hospital with injuries to her back and pelvis.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
