Woman injured after Woodbridge accident

EMERGENCY services were called to Woodbridge today following a collision involving a lorry and a moped.The accident happened in Theatre Street when a red and green Iveco skip loader collided with an Orange Honda moped at around 10.52am.

The accident happened in Theatre Street when a red and green Iveco skip loader collided with an Orange Honda moped at around 10.52am.

Police and ambulance crews attended the scene and a 60-year-old woman, who was riding the moped, was treated by paramedics. She was then taken to Ipswich Hospital.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the woman's injuries are not believed to be serious.
