A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a crash between two cars in Ipswich today.

The collision happened outside The Thrasher pub, in Nacton Road, shortly after 9am this morning.
The crash involved a BMW and an MG and blocked one lane of the road while police recovered the vehicles.
A woman was taken by ambulance to Ipswich Hospital with back and neck pain.
Police detained a person on suspicion of drink driving following the crash.
