POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was killed when she was hit by a car in Essex.
POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was killed when she was hit by a car in Essex.
The incident took place at 6pm yesterday on the B1052 at Little Waldon.
The 69-year-old woman, from Chadwell Heath, was struck by a black Citroen C2. She was taken to Addenbrooke's but later died of the head injuries she sustained.
The 18-year-old driver, from Cambridgeshire, was unhurt. He was arrested and released on bail.
