A WOMAN was killed today after her and another pedestrian were in collision with a car in a Suffolk town.The accident happened at around 2.30pm in the seaside resort of Southwold.
A WOMAN was killed today after her and another pedestrian were in collision with a car in a Suffolk town.
The accident happened at around 2.30pm in the seaside resort of Southwold.
The woman, as yet unnamed, was airlifted to James Paget Hospital while the other pedestrian was taken there by ambulance.
Police and fire crews were also called to the incident, which happened outside the Crown Hotel.
There was congestion after police were forced to divert traffic while initial accident investigation took place.
