Woman not seriously hurt after being ‘clipped’ by bus in Lloyds Avenue, Ipswich

A woman has been taken to hospital after she was “clipped” by a bus in Ipswich.

Emergency services were called to Electric House in Lloyds Avenue around 1.35pm.

A Suffolk Constabulary spokeswoman said: “The bus clipped while waiting at the bus stop.”

The woman, aged in her 20s, was taken to Ipswich Hospital by land ambulance to be checked over.

The police spokeswoman said the woman was not badly hurt.
