Police appeal after robbery.

A woman was grabbed from behind and had money demanded from her in Ipswich yesterday.

The woman was walking along Hawes Street at around 4.35pm when she was grabbed.

She gave the man £30 from her purse before he fled.

The man was white, around 5ft 8ins tall, of skinny or slim build and had a potted complexion and stubble.

He is described as in his 40s and as wearing a grey hoody with a front pocket and dark dirty or dusty trousers.
