Woman serious after two-car smash
A WOMAN is being treated in Ipswich Hospital today for serious head injuries she sustained in a two-car smash in East Bergholt.Three ambulances were called to Gandish Road shortly before 8pm yesterday following reports of a collision between a black Ford Focus and a silver Peugeot 206.

Three ambulances were called to Gandish Road shortly before 8pm yesterday following reports of a collision between a black Ford Focus and a silver Peugeot 206.
Fire crews from Hadleigh, Princes Street in Ipswich and Colchester were called to release the female driver from her car. Two others in the Ford Focus were also released by firefighters.
Crews remained on scene until just before 9.15pm.
A police spokesman said one of those involved in the accident suffered a broken leg and a broken pelvis in the crash.
He said that three people were believed to have sustained minor injuries.

A spokesman for The East of England Ambulance Service confirmed three casualties were taken to Ipswich Hospital.
However, he was unable to reveal the exact nature of their injuries.
