POLICE have today arrested a 21-year-old man after a young woman was shot in the neck at Grundisburgh.The incident happened just after 12 noon at Stoney Road in the village.

The incident happened just after 12 noon at Stoney Road in the village.
The 19-year-old woman was taken to Ipswich Hospital where she is being treated for neck and shoulder wounds. Her condition is described as serious but not life-threatening.
Police have confirmed that a man has been arrested at the house and taken to Ipswich Police Station for questioning.
An East Anglian Ambulance Trust spokesman told The Evening Star: "We sent a rapid response vehicle to the scene and a medic. We took one female patient to Ipswich Hospital where she is being treated for a gun shot wound."
