The woman was walking outside Yates' on Tower Street in Ipswich Town Centre at about 8.45pm last night when the collision with a Vauxhall Omega Estate, which was travelling at about 30 miles per hour, happened.
Paramedics were called to the scene where the woman was found conscious and breathing, and she was treated for potential spinal injures.
She was then taken to Ipswich Hospital but the seriousness of her injuries is not yet known.
