A woman was taken to hospital with suspected back injuries after a two vehicle crash in Felixstowe this afternoon.
Police were called to the scene, close to the dock Spur Roundabout, just after 1.30pm.
Involved in the accident was a Citroen C3 and a Volkswagen Caddy van.
The female driver of the Citroen had to be freed from her vehicle by emergency crews and was taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
Two lanes of the eastbound carriageway were closed to allow for the woman to be treated and recovery work to take place.
The male driver of the van was not injured.
All lanes had reopened by 2.45pm.
