A woman was threatened by a man with a hammer during a robbery in Ipswich yesterday.
The incident happened in Myrtle Road at around 3.30pm. The man walked into the home with the hammer, threatening the woman in the address. He then stole an amount of cash and a mobile phone before leaving the address.
The woman, although shocked, was uninjured.
The man is described as white, about 5ft 7ins tall, aged in his thirties, with blue eyes, possibly with an Irish accent, and was wearing dark coloured clothing.
