AN IPSWICH shop owner has expressed his relief after foresight to protect his property with bollards proved critical during a road accident. Emergency crews were called to a crash at 1pm today when two cars collided at traffic lights at the junction of Spring Road and Cauldwell Hall Road, leaving two woman trapped in one of the vehicles.

Emergency crews were called to a crash at 1pm today when two cars collided at traffic lights at the junction of Spring Road and Cauldwell Hall Road, leaving two woman trapped in one of the vehicles.
Ram raid bollards protecting the outside of Dave Wallis' car audio shop stopped the car containing the two women - a red Nissan Micra - crashing into his shop.
