FIREFIGHTERS freed two women after they were trapped in their car following a smash.
Both women were trapped by their legs after their car hit a stationary vehicle in Felixstowe Road, Ipswich yesterday afternoon.
Fire crews spent about half an hour freeing the women after they were called to the scene just before 5pm.
An ambulance was called and both the women were taken to Ipswich Hospital. No details were available about the extent of their injuries.
