Work begins on library project

WORK has now started on the refurbishment of Ipswich's Chantry Library and the creation of a new children's centre.The library will close for essential building works on Sunday at 4pm, and reopen on Saturday, January 12, at 10am.

WORK has now started on the refurbishment of Ipswich's Chantry Library and the creation of a new children's centre.

The library will close for essential building works on Sunday at 4pm, and reopen on Saturday, January 12, at 10am.

It is hoped the library will remain open throughout the seven month project, which is costing a total £641,000.
