The store, which submitted a planning application in February to install a new entrance and branding, will fill the former Regatta shop in Butter Market.

Boards with the Joules branding were set up last week with work to fit the shop currently underway.

It is not yet known when the store will open, with signs outside only stating “Hello Ipswich, we’ll be opening soon”.

The brand already has a ‘beside the seaside’ concept store in Southwold.

The store’s arrival in Ipswich is the latest in a string of developments for the town which include the recent completion of Empire cinemas and the Krispy Kreme donut stall, both in the Buttermarket Shopping Centre, and an application for a second store by The Range in Bury Road.
