Worker in ladder fall
A WORKER is recovering in hospital after falling ten feet from ladder at a building site on the Ipswich Waterfront today.An ambulance crew and a rapid response vehicle from the East of England Ambulance Service were called to the scene in College Street.

A WORKER is recovering in hospital after falling ten feet from ladder at a building site on the Ipswich Waterfront today.
An ambulance crew and a rapid response vehicle from the East of England Ambulance Service were called to the scene in College Street at about 9.05am to find a 30-year-old man had fallen off a ladder and landed on a scaffolding pole.
He suffered an injury to his chest and was taken to Ipswich Hospital.
Ian Himes, an emergency care practitioner, who attended the incident in a rapid response vehicle, said: “The man had fallen about ten feet off a ladder and landed on a scaffolding pole. He had chest injuries but these are not life threatening.
“He was taken to Ipswich Hospital where he will have X-Rays.”
