PUPILS at Downing Primary School are singing their hearts out today to try and set a new world record.The school is joining a mass simultaneous sing with others from across Britain, to help raise cash for national charity Sargent Cancer Care for Children.

The school is joining a mass simultaneous sing with others from across Britain, to help raise cash for national charity Sargent Cancer Care for Children.
A total of 150 children from the school in Ipswich are singing a specially-written song called 'Tell me why,'.
Young signing star Declan Galbraith is performing the same song live in Belfast's Odyssey Arena, and 100,000 young people were scheduled to take part.
The event is staged by concert organisers Young Voices, which successfully broke the Guinness World record for the world's largest choir last Christmas when 6,846 young voices sang together.
Sargent Cancer Care for Children funds a 100-string team of care professionals based at treatment centres across the country.
The charity also provides families with practical and financial support, together with short breaks during or after treatment.
Headteacher at Downing Primary School, Margo Baker said: "We are delighted to be involved in breaking a new world record and at the same time supporting a really fantastic cause – helping brave young cancer patients."
