COAST guards were called to rescue a man after his yacht caught fire six miles east of Felixstowe.
One man was on board the boat and was rescued by a passing fishing vessel. The incident happened at around 5pm today.
Harwich Lifeboat, who escorted the man back to the coast, attended the continued to monitor the scene after the concerns about three gas bottles on board the yacht.
