A long-awaited £25 million development of a derelict seafront site in Felixstowe was approved today, despite last ditch attempts to foil it by objectors.

The housing and leisure scheme for Felixstowe's south seafront, was given the go-ahead at a meeting at Suffolk Coastal District Council's offices in Woodbridge.
