WITH trips into Europe and a second successive season in the Premier League, Ipswich Town fans are experiencing life at fever pitch – or should that be fever pooch?

While us humans can head on down to Portman Road and snap up the very latest Ipswich shirt, our four-legged canine friends spend the winter months with their small frames exposed to the elements.

But all that is set to change thanks to the Evening Star!

First we brought you Tractor Boys merchandise including stickers, beer and t-shirts now we have taken it one step further - Tractor Dogs.

Tractor Dogs are waterproof, thick fleece lined coats, which slip over the back of your football mad pooch.

The coats come in a variety of different sizes – from the extra small size suitable for a Yorkie or Westie, to the extra extra large size which would fit a Doberman or German Shepherd.

After the Tractor Boys successful smash and grab raid in Moscow last week, Town could be set for further chilly ventures across the European mainland.

With a trip to nippy Sweden coming up, your own dog can get one step closer to that big match atmosphere by staying at home in a Tractor Dog coat.

What's more with players such as Ruff-us Brevett, Ian Walkies and Sam Dalla Bone-a set to come to Portman Road in the next few months, there's never been a better time to wrap up your pooch in a Tractor Dog coat.

The big bone-us is that we have five to give away in a competition in conjunction with Newcastle based www.soccerdogs.co.uk.

To stand a chance of winning a coat and making your hound a Tractor Dog all you have to do is to write and tell us why your pooch is a life long Super Blues fan.

The best five will receive a Tractor Dog coat. Write to Tractor Dog competition, Evening Star 30 Lower Brook St, Ipswich, IP4 1AN. Closing date for this competition is Friday 12th October.
