TEENAGERS from a church group have given an Ipswich pensioner's flat a complete makeover.
The members of the 14-plus group at St Margaret's Church, Ipswich, spent the weekend stripping and repainting walls, putting up curtain rails, laying carpets and installing new furniture.
They were called in by Maureen Raynell, organiser for the charity Find, which helps people on the poverty line.
She had been asked to provide new bedding for the pensioner, who has not been named and lives in Stonelodge Lane, and drafted in the teenagers to help give the flat a new look.
