A COLLISION between a car and a 13-year-old boy has taken place at the junction of Ellenbrooke Road and Belmont Road.The accident took place at around 4.45pm today and police and ambulance crews have attended the scene.

and Belmont Road in Ipswich.

The accident happened at around 4.45pm today and police and ambulance crews attended the scene.

The boy is thought to have suffered serious head injuries, plus injuries to his arm and a possible broken leg.

He was taken to Ipswich Hospital and is thought to be in a stable condition.
