Officers are eager to trace witnesses who may have sounded their horns as they passed the scene of an argument involving a young woman, two children and three men in Ipswich.
The incident happened on June 30 between 4pm and 5pm near the corner of Woodville Road and Grove Lane.
A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said: “Police are appealing for witnesses following an altercation between a young woman, who had two young children with her, and three males.
“It’s thought a motorist may have passed in their vehicle between these times and sounded their horn and officers would particularly like to speak to this driver as they may be able to assist.”
If you saw or heard anything in the area at the time call Suffolk police on 101 and quote crime number IE/15/2232.
