Youngsters at Ipswich Art School Gallery put their creative skills to good use on Saturday as they crafted their own masks on the theme of ‘animals as aliens’.
The family fun day featured the children working on their own designs with the help of artists who helped with tricks, tips and techniques for the groups to craft a personalised animal as alien mask.
James Steward, Ipswich Museums manager, said: “This was a hands-on event combining learning and fun and gave families and young people an opportunity to create some magical masks to wear or keep at home as a memento of their day.
“The Museum and Art Gallery is engaging with more and more families at a range of events throughout the year and the smiles say it all.”
