Youths sought after Ipswich mugging

Detectives in Ipswich are appealing for witness after two teen youths viciously kicked a woman in the head after knocking her to the ground.

The attack on the 55-year-old took place opposite the Post Office on Christchurch Street at 2pm yesterday

One of the men tried to grab the woman's handbag before both thugs made off on foot towards Woodbridge Road.

The attackers are both white and aged 15. They were both casually dressed. Anyone who may have witnessed the attack is urged to call Ipswich CID on 01473 383133
